Incapacity for work
If you are unable to work due to an illness through no fault of your own, you are generally entitled to continued remuneration for a period of six weeks (Section 3 (1) EFZG). An illness is an abnormal physical or mental condition. A doctor usually determines whether such a condition exists. You should therefore have yourself examined and not simply rely on your own assessment.
