Job seeker registration

If you can foresee that your employment relationship will end or you have a Termination you must register as a job seeker very quickly. If you do not do this, you will face a waiting period and you will not receive your Unemployment benefitThis applies even if you take legal action against the Termination want to proceed. According to Section 38 Paragraph 1 of the Social Code III, you are obliged to register as a jobseeker at the employment agency in person at least three months before the end of your employment relationship. If less than three months pass between the time you know the date of termination and the end of the employment relationship, you must register within three days of knowing the date of termination. You can also register as a jobseeker by phone, for example. However, you must then register in person.
