Settlement receipt

If your employment relationship is terminated, your employer may provide you with a so-called settlement receipt. As a rule, this is a declaration that you have no further claims arising from the employment relationship. You should therefore ask for a period of reflection and seek legal advice. Otherwise, you could waive rights that you did not even think about when you signed the agreement, such as a VACATION PAYSANSPRUCH. Once the compensation receipt is in the world, it cannot be easily removed from the world. Caution is therefore advised.
