Operational risk

Your employer has the opportunity to make a profit with his company and the use of your labor. He must therefore also bear the risk if he is temporarily unable to employ you due to operational disruptions and continue to pay your wages. He bears the operational risk, which materializes, for example, if the electricity or machines break down or raw materials to be processed are not delivered. The employer also bears the economic risk, for example if the manufactured goods are not sold. However, special circumstances apply in situations in which the company is affected by a strike.
